How YOU Can Build A Second Brain
I am literally writing this today on Friday at 4 am in the morning, wow!
Hey friends,
Hoping you’re all having a great time after the new announcement from Education Ministry about the decision of not taking the HSC exams. In the last couple of months, I was pretty stressed out worrying about the exams myself. Thanks to God, a big stress has come to an end.
Last week I’ve talked about all the struggles I faced in taking notes in the early stage and organizing my daily workflows with different notebooks and apps, and finally introduced you to Notion in the end. Today, I will deep dive more into the workflow of Notion, and how it can help organizing your daily lifestyle too and certainly help you to build your own Second Brain.
Using notion to write notes by reviewing slides from online class.
Notion is just a note taking application by which, you not only can take notes in general, you can also make tasks/ todo lists, plans, track your goals, make a database of books, study notes from those books in separate pages, link connections through databases or pages, use it as Docs, use it as Excel sheet, use it as a Calendar with reminders, capture and save slides from the online classes you take, bla bla bla. Funny thing is, you can even code inside notion.
So, you can consider notion as an all in one application/ tool to maintain your study, health & lifestyle and basically make a digital journal with note taking capabilities. If I say about myself, this tool has skyrocketed my productivity and now I almost never forget my silliest ideas and tasks.
It works like a Second Brain for me. Which helps me to organize my works, reminds me when I need to do what, and keeps track of my productive workflow overall. It works like my Life Wiki, it works like a second brain.
Why you need a Second Brain in the first place?
As I’ve written in my previous issue, to organize your workflow and improve your lifestyle, you need a proper tool and guideline to increase your productivity not only for show, but for real too. I just did the homework for you. I’ve tried many mediums, but failed. With Notion, I got more than enough tools to play with, it kept me motivated. I am so into it, I even write all my newsletters and keep track of upcoming ones with awesomeness, Notion. I’m quite sure if you haven’t tried it yet, you’re falling behind.
Notion is as simple as Microsoft Word or Google Keep. I highly recommend everyone to try it out themselves.
Reply to my emails if you have any suggestions or questions. I read my every emails, you should read too :3
Have a great week everyone!

My Favourite Things This Week
Book: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. I’ve just started reading it and I already love the book. I might write about this book in my upcoming issue.
Music: Aami Ashbo Phirey (আমি আসবো ফিরে)- an awesome song by Neel Dutt, son of Anjan Dutt. I’m so dumb to discover it right about yesterday, literally!
Blog Post: I am sick of the people who’re confused about FEMINISM and always try to mix this beautiful concept with Extremism. This is a splendid writing about the general misconceptions of Feminism by my friend Turzo.
